Selamat jalan Shihan Nardi.

Shihan Nardi traveled to Japan a number of times over the years to train at Honbu with Sosai. He introduced Kyokushin Karate to Indonesia in 1967.

On behalf of the IKO Honbu of Sosai, where Shihan Nardi trained with devotion and energy, I send our condolences to the members of the family of Shihan Nardi and his students of the Perguruan Pembinaan Mental Karate Kyokushinkai Karate-DO Indonesia

Osu. May he rest in peace. Selamat Jalan (safe journey).

Ohh....

Much condolences to his family and students...

Mother and I travelled to Indonesia (with Goda, Matsushima as well) when I was nine- and I remember he was so so kind and gentle... He treated Mother like a Queen. She went there for a tournament on behalf of Sosai.... (then he was Kancho). I still have the shell ring he bought us.

Now he is with Sosai and Mother, they will be looking down...

May he rest in peace...

Osu.
This is a real sign of how Kyokushin is marching on. The original teachers are growing old and meeting in the big dojo in the sky.
RIP Shihan.

Nice way to put it Rob. If you see it in that light it is nice to think Sosai went ahead to prepare the dojo for his students...

Osu.

I am a student of Shihan Nardi from PMK Kyokushinkai Karate do Indonesia.
Deepest Lost of a Great Man who dedicate his entire life to Kyokushin Karate and he tought us a "Budho" spirit and I remmember once he told me how sorry he was watching IKO Kyokushin devided into many parts since Sosai passed away (included in Indonesia), He put a lot of respect to Sosai and He still think Sosai as his own parent (as he wrote on his Biography) and he remmember when he trainned in Honbu, Madame took a baby girl to him and she is Kuristina and he's so glad he had a chance to hold that baby girl.
Although he already seperated his organization from Honbu, but not in his spirit, his teaching ( he wrote several articles about Honbu and quoted Shihan Quinn articles and translate to Bahasa Indonesia).

May He rest in peace....... and The Budho Spirit that Sosai teach us will still live with us and I quote Shihan Quinn's email....
"We hope Shihan's students continue to honour him through their ongoing training and loyal devotion to their teacher, Shihan Nardi, and to his teacher in turn, Sosai Mas Oyama."
